First Aid at Work

Course Information

This course provides attendees with skills and knowledge to deal with first aid situations in higher risk workplace environments or workplaces with a larger number of employees.

This course is normally run for no less than three days, it will give the attendees a qualification to the highest level of First Aid in the workplace, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

  • Fractures
  • Poisons

This Course is open to those over the age of 14yrs, however only those over 16 years of age can act as a first aider in the workplace.


the Trainer Assessor will assess the learners through out the day, there is also a multiple Choice Question paper. Results may not be provided on the day but will be communicated to the company with in 24hrs.

Certificate valid for 3 years on a successful completion of course and assessment paper.

Notes for employer

Since October 2013 the HSE no longer regulate first aid training providers, it has been passed onto the employer to ensure that the training provider that they appoint is following the guidance by the HSE "Selecting a First Aid Provider"

HSE recommend that First Aiders in the workplace refresh their knowledge on an annual basis. book your FAW course with us and we will provide the refresher course for free (3hrs BLS)
